From the Pastor

I think everyone will agree with me when I say, "Our world is messed up!" Once again, last week, we witnessed another mass shooting. During the same week, three more of our states legalized marijuana. And we saw several upsets and newcomers emerge in the mid-term elections. Many of those ran on platforms that were non-biblical. Chaos, dishonesty, immorality, and disrespect of godly values, are all at the heart of our messed up world. All of it has led society to believe evil is good, and good is evil. Long ago, God spoke through the prophet of Isaiah and said, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil... for they have rejected the instruction of the Lord of Hosts, and they have despised the word of the of the Holy One of Isreal."
I am convinced that the only way we can clean up our world and change the chaos into peace is to once again embrace the grace, mercy, and love, of God as offered through Jesus Christ the Redeemer. God also said through Isaiah, "If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land ..." (Isaiah 1:19) The prophet Ezekial proclaimed, "Repent and turn from all your transgressions, so they will not be a stumbling block that causes your punishment. Throw off all the transgressions you have committed, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit."
If we would just turn to God and follow His ways we can once again know that evil is evil, and good is good.
